About Celeste Beauty Academy

Celeste Beauty Academy (CBA) is preparing to open a tuition-free North Carolina public charter high school centered on cosmetology, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and college readiness.

As a recipient of the NC GROW Charter School Program Planning & Implementation Grant, CBA is building its founding team in preparation for an August 2027 opening. This is a unique opportunity to join a startup public charter school during its Planning Year and help build the systems, community relationships, and operational infrastructure that will support the school for years to come.

Position

Summary

The Enrollment & Recruitment Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid position responsible for leading student recruitment and enrollment during Celeste Beauty Academy's Planning Year while also supporting the development of the school's student enrollment, business operations, records, and enrollment-related funding processes.

During the Planning Year, the position's immediate priority will be building a strong student pipeline, with goals of generating 450+ qualified student interest forms and enrolling CBA's founding class of 100 students for August 2027.

This position extends beyond traditional student recruitment. The successful candidate will help establish the systems CBA will use to manage enrollment, student records, district coordination, data reporting, and funding processes associated with enrolled students.

There is an opportunity for continued Year 1 employment following the Planning Year, with the role transitioning more heavily toward student enrollment management and school business operations as CBA opens and begins serving students.
