The company possesses an enviable in‑house engineering capability, employing a team of chemical, metallurgical, and mechanical engineers who provide process engineering design, R&D, and support services for our potable and effluent water treatment, solid‑liquid separation, chemical dosing, remote monitoring and control, and mineral process optimisation plants.
We focus on the operations and maintenance of water treatment plants, equipment, and water‑related infrastructure by deploying trained and qualified operating and maintenance personnel to client facilities. Watercare Innovations is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, and Gauteng, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities- Reviewing and interpreting electrical and control drawings
- Creating and maintaining EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) equipment lists
- Providing input into tenders and quote development
- Assisting in setting electrical standards
- Preparing and sending RFQs to suppliers for electrical panels and MCCs
- Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance
- Client and supplier meetings
- Commissioning assistance
- Coordinating with project managers, draughtsmen, mechanical and process engineers
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 2‑3 years of experience
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to planning
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools is a plus
- Interest in water treatment, industrial automation, or control systems is advantageous
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a procurement career.
