Job DescriptionThe Water Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a key technical contributor on projects involving stormwater management, water distribution, and wastewater conveyance systems. This role combines advanced engineering expertise with project delivery responsibilities to support municipal and private‑sector clients in planning, design, and implementation of integrated water infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead design and analysis of stormwater systems, water/sewer conveyance networks, and related infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, cost‑effective solutions for complex water infrastructure challenges.
- Support project managers in scope development, budgeting, and schedule management.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and technical evaluations for system performance and capacity planning.
- Provide quality assurance and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 5+ years of experience in stormwater, water distribution, and wastewater conveyance design.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., SWMM, Storm
CAD, HEC‑RAS) and CAD platforms. - Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.
