, empowers Engineering‑to‑Order (ETO), Cost Price Quote (CPQ), and other engineering and sales processes.
Technology Consultant – Automation Position Summary
As a Technology Consultant, you will lead the implementation and customization of the RULER configurator for manufacturing clients, focusing on advanced automation of engineering and quoting workflows. You'll be a technical expert and trusted advisor, driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Architect and develop custom Ruler customizations and Autodesk Inventor workflows to automate complex engineering models and drawings.
- Extend and enhance the RULER framework using C#, .NET
, and related technologies. - Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
- Work within Visual Studio
, manage codebases using Git
, and contribute to a high‑quality development lifecycle. - Integrate with CAD/CAM platforms, primarily Autodesk Inventor
, to streamline engineering workflows. - Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven track record of developing Inventor add‑ins and automating CAD models and drawings.
- Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering automation.
- Experience with CPQ or ETO
. - Familiarity with other programming languages or automation frameworks.
- Background in industrial engineering, systems integration, or product configuration.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
