NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant for our Charlotte, NC office. The right candidate will have 10+ years of consulting experience on due diligence projects. We are looking for a self‑motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

• Senior Reviewer for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II Remediation Activities, and Brownfields
• Indoor Air Quality Consulting activities (mold, asbestos, lead‑based paint)
• Underground storage tank removals
• Mentor junior staff and review reports

• Degree:
  Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science
• 8+ years’ experience with due diligence projects (Phase I, II)
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) is required
• Experienced with Phase I and II ESAs, soil/groundwater sampling, PFAs, brownfield work, soil vapor, risk hazard assessment, vapor barrier design experience
• Good communications and reporting skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, North and South Carolina
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
