Field Service Engineer - MRI and CT - Charlotte, NC

Job Description Summary

The Field Engineer will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing medical equipment for our Nuclear, CT and PET modalities within a hospital or healthcare system in North Carolina.

• Performtimelyandaccuratepreventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment within a hospital or healthcare system to ensureoptimaldelivery of healthcare services to patients.

• Maintain relationships with customers and ensuretimelycommunication, resolution and proper follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols, to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; ensure documentation of all work performed is captured, including the ordering of parts.

• Associates degree,Bachelor'sdegree,military education,participant in the formal GE Health Care Biomedical or Field Engineer Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GEDwith4+years’experience servicing electronic equipment.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted andfrequentlybend, stoop, twist, climb,crouchor squat, kneel or crawl, sit and stand forlong periodsof time. Must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex orextend neck and have good handand finger dexterity.

• Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
