• At least 5 years of directly related experience
• Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria

• Advanced problem identification and resolution skills

As a Mechanical Lead Engineer in Charlotte, NC, you will be part of the proven team in the Steam Generator Replacement Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit.

Your day‑to‑day will radiate around a best method approach to support large component replacement through an engineered opening in a pre‑stressed concrete containment structure. To support large component replacement interconnecting mechanical safety / non‑safety systems as well as any interfering mechanical safety / non‑safety systems are to be removed, temporarily supported, potentially rerouted, and reinstalled (reconciled) to original design basis qualifications.

To achieve this project scope, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of mechanical engineers providing mentorship and guidance on development of engineering changes. This position requires up to 25% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low‑carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $101,000 - $138,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
