Job Description
We are seeking a talented Engineer II - Structural Engineer to join our Charlotte, NC office in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Revit and 4-8 years of overall structural engineering experience
. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects, collaborating with a team of passionate professionals.
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Design: Develop detailed structural designs for buildings, infrastructure, and other projects using Revit and other engineering tools.
Modeling and Drafting: Create and manage 3D models in Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Analysis and Calculations: Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Documentation: Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Code Compliance: Ensure designs meet local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
Project Management Support: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 4-8 years of structural engineering experience.
Revit Expertise: Extensive experience with Revit, including modeling, drafting, and collaboration workflows.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP
2000, ETABS, or similar) and AutoCAD.Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and engineering principles.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex engineering challenges.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
Experience working on large‑scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
Experience with hybrid work environments and collaboration tools.
