Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced GE ADMS System Engineer to manage, maintain, and support the GE ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) platform, including OMS (Outage Management System) and DMS (Distribution Management System) functionalities. The role involves system configuration, automation, technical support, and mentoring junior engineers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of ADMS environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain GE ADMS OMS/DMS systems to support distribution network operations.
- Manage server environments and implement automation to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Provide 24/7 support and maintenance of existing ADMS environments.
- Offer technical assistance during system commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Guide ADMS technical teams on OMS/DMS functionalities and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and data analysis.
- Conduct system audits, performance tuning, and develop test plans for new features.
- Train and upskill junior engineers on ADMS tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and resolving issues in GE ADMS OMS/DMS systems.
- Expertise in automating workflows and managing server infrastructure to ensure system stability and performance.
- Ability to provide real-time support during commissioning, upgrades, and outages, ensuring 24/7 system availability.
- Strong understanding of OMS/DMS functionalities to guide technical teams and collaborate across departments.
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers and conducting training sessions to build team capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with GE ADMS or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of electric distribution networks, SCADA systems, and grid operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
