• Proficient in designing and drafting mechanical and plumbing systems including:
  Ductwork, Piping, Sanitary systems, Domestic water, Medical gas, Compressed air, natural gas, and water heating systems
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and evaluate design concepts.
• Assess feasibility of design ideas based on safety, function, and serviceability.
• Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and sketches using Revit software.
• Develop construction documents and coordinate intermittent submissions.
• Work closely with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integration.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits.
• Skilled in determining the optimal routing and sizing of systems.
• High proficiency in computer-aided design tools and software.

• Educational Requirements:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and working toward professional licensure (PE) (Preferred)
• Experience:
  
  4+ years as a mechanical designer
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Revit, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD MEP, MS Office Suite, Trane TOPSS, Trace 3D
• Travel: up to 20% depending on project
