Sr Tax Analyst – Honeywell

As a Senior Tax Analyst at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our tax department in managing tax compliance, reporting activities, and maximizing tax benefits for the company. Your expertise in tax research will help ensure accurate and timely filings and identify tax‑saving opportunities while mitigating risks.

Location:

Charlotte, NC – Hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax return compliance and preparation of Federal, State, and International corporate income tax returns.
  • Preparation of working papers used to support the global tax provision and tax filings.
  • Identify, research, and evaluate alternative tax positions to determine and implement supportable, cost‑effective filing positions.
  • Manage the timely and efficient administration of information assimilation and reporting through process review and implementation of improved procedures.
  • Monitor industry positions and legislative activities relevant to Honeywell’s business operations, and model scenarios to assess future impacts.
  • Preparation and review of annual tax provision and reconciliations to be recorded and submitted for global consolidation; collaborate with outside tax service providers and the internal finance organization.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years Big Four and/or Corporate Tax experience, with exposure to large U.S. multi‑national companies.
  • Technical knowledge of U.S. Federal and State tax laws & regulations, including international provisions such as Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, FTC, and BEAT.
  • Experience with ASC 740 income tax provisions and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in corporate tax, Alteryx, and advanced Excel capabilities.
