Job Summary:

The Associate Director, Data & Analytics, is a key position responsible for managing the preparation and delivery of accounting and financial reports, particularly focused on Commercial Mortgage‑Backed Securities (CMBS). This role requires an understanding of commercial real estate finance, strong accounting expertise, and proficiency in using the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC) Investor Reporting Package (IRP). The successful candidate will be part of a team that functions in analyzing data, creating, processing and understanding various accounting journal entries, ensuring compliance, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives to identify and monitor key events affecting financial balances in Custodial and Operational Demand Deposit Accounts (DDAs) and related general ledger accounts. Develop strategies to enhance account analysis and manage processes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage and optimize the use of systems and platforms for tracking and recording our financial information, ensuring data integrity and accessibility to support informed decision‑making across teams.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports and communications on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Provide guidance and insights on financial information by preparing detailed reports and strategic recommendations for senior management to support operational and strategic improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate strategic communication and coordination on financial matters, address complex issues, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in event identification and management processes, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and compliance requirements while enhancing operational efficiency.
