The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing reliable financial reporting information and analysis as it relates to our e-commerce platform, (). Reporting to the Director of FP&A, with a dotted line to the President of the business, this individual will be the primary business partner to the leadership team. This individual must be hands‑on, possess a strong mix of financial acumen, business partnership skills and operational understanding, and have the drive and desire to create a structured approach building out FP&A capabilities in an area where they currently do not exist.
HowYou Will Own It
- Own the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long‑range planning processes
- Develop robust and dynamic input‑driven financial models, and what‑if analysis, to support strategic initiatives
- Leverage reporting tools to design, and develop, KPI’s and dashboards to track daily, weekly, and monthly performance
- Attend weekly leadership meetings
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to compile performance results (e.g. accounting, procurement, FP&A, etc.)
- Prepare and present monthly financial review decks
- Other FP&A duties as assigned by management as this business continues to evolve
- 7+ years of experience with a background that includes accounting and financial analysis.
- Experience building financial models to support planning and forecasting processes, and to value investment decisions.
- Proven ability to lead and work under minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to anticipate business needs and then proactively address them.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experienced at creating executive‑level summaries and presenting to an executive audience.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Accounting or Finance, preferred)
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Able to work well with people across multiple functions
- Abe to articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- FMVA certification
- Prior experience independently managing a distinct product line, functional area or retail business
- Prior people (direct or indirect), and project, leadership experience
- Mid‑Senior level
