Overview
Alvarez & Marsal's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) enables portfolio companies to preserve and generate value by improving transparency to key drivers and business performance, supporting cash and EBITDA growth, and delivering credible plans and execution for financial outcomes.
Responsibilities- Hypothesis / Scope Development: connect with the client to gather information, facilitate interviews, define analyses needed, apply industry knowledge to identify drivers and issues, develop a project framework, and deliver actionable conclusions.
- Project Management and Implementation: lead components of projects with multiple service lines, manage smaller projects independently, proactively manage client expectations, develop straightforward actionable plans, and lead individual work streams.
- Cash Generation and Value Improvement: design cash-generating initiatives, optimization of organizational structure, and drive EBITDA improvements.
- Engagement with Senior Management: collaborate with senior management and boards to obtain buy-in for actionable plans; anticipate risks and develop contingency plans; communicate timely updates to clients.
- Leadership and Team Development: guide teams using industry expertise, manage client relationships, build complementary teams, and drive change management using available tools and resources.
- Controllership and Advisory
Experience:
apply experience in Controllership, Finance and Accounting Advisory Services to client engagements.
- Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance, economics preferred but not required.
- Experience with Digital Finance technologies (RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Finance Analytics, NLG, data visualization).
- 8+ years in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and presentation skills.
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required.
Salary range: $125,000–$190,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus based on various factors including performance. Please consult the recruiter for details.
