** Underwriting Rating Analyst
** in our
** North America Operations
** team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
** Underwriting Rating Analyst
** to perform rating functions for multiple lines of admitted and non-admitted business and contribute to the success of our dynamic team.

**** What you’ll be doing:
*** Collect account-specific and policy-related information to accurately prepare and perform rating for various transactions, including new quotes, requotes, issues, endorsements, and other rating work.
* Conduct thorough reviews of underwriting information and instructions to ensure completeness and accuracy, including binders, payment plans, and commission details.
* Uphold high service standards through timely responses to requests and delivery of high-quality work that aligns with departmental policies and procedures.
* Stay informed about changes in rating practices, rules, techniques, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all Sompo systems and guidelines.
* Assist with audits, including market conduct exams, internal compliance underwriting audits, and other relevant reviews to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met.
* Contribute to special projects as assigned, including initiatives to improve department performance and achieve organizational objectives.
** What you’ll bring:
*** Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a technical or underwriting assistant with similar responsibilities.
* Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Image Right.
* Familiarity with Guidewire, Policy Decisions, Power BI, Micro Strategy, and other insurance systems is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management, and attention to detail.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing procedures and a growing environment.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team structure and contribute to shared goals.
