As the Accountant at Arthur Elliott, you keep the numbers clean, the books balanced, and the budget whisperers happy. You’re meticulous with details, proactive with deadlines, and comfortable working behind the scenes to keep our agency’s financial operations running smoothly.
This role supports billing, reporting, reconciliations, and financial processes that directly affect how we operate day-to-day and grow long-term. You bring precision, reliability, and a spreadsheet that always adds up.

Reports To Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including client invoicing and vendor payments
- Process and record employee reimbursements and internal expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account classifications
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, working closely with the CFO
- Assist with budget tracking and project-level financial updates for department leads
- Prepare and organize documentation for tax preparation and annual audits
- Maintain compliance with internal processes and financial controls
- Collaborate with department heads on purchase order processes and spend tracking
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by leadership
- 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in an agency or professional services environment
- Proficient in Xero (or equivalent accounting software) and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven with excellent organizational skills
- Discreet and professional when handling sensitive financial information
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Teams and Office Suite
- Strong communicator who can collaborate across departments while keeping financial clarity intact
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
