A multi-billion multi-family office is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President / Managing Director to join its advisory team. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to HNW and UHNW families, delivering fully integrated wealth management solutions while contributing to the firm’s continued growth. Candidates must bring a proven portable book of business of at least $25 million in client assets.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary advisor managing complex relationships with HNW & UHNW individuals, families, and business owners.
- Deliver holistic wealth advice across investments, estate and tax planning, family governance, and philanthropy, leveraging the firm’s institutional resources.
- Transition and grow a portable book of at least $25MM, with support from the firm’s platform and business development resources.
- Partner with the investment team to construct and oversee customized portfolios aligned with client objectives and long-term goals.
- Cultivate new relationships through personal networks, centers of influence, and referrals, expanding the firm’s HNW & UHNW client base.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives designed to enhance client experience and drive growth.
- Mentor junior advisors and contribute to the development of next-generation client service talent.
- 10+ years of experience advising HNW & UHNW individuals and families within a multi-family office, private bank, or RIA.
- Demonstrated ability to build and deepen client relationships across multiple generations.
- Proven record of originating new client relationships and transitioning assets; must bring a portable book of at least $25MM in investable assets.
- Strong investment and planning acumen, with the ability to coordinate across estate, tax, and philanthropic needs.
- Professional designations such as CFA, CFP, JD, or CPA are strongly preferred.
- Highly polished interpersonal, communication, and client service skills.
