Position Overview:The Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls for a dynamic consumer goods company. This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who thrives in a manufacturing setting and enjoys driving operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the monthly close process and preparation of financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee cost accounting and inventory controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Supervise accounting team and coordinate audits
- Partner with operations to drive financial insights and efficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and ERP systems
- Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop a team
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
