WhatYou Will Do
- Assess the conceptual soundness and applicability of the mathematical/statistical theories.
- Evaluate data inputs and assumptions.
- Test model computational accuracy and perform outcomes analysis (such as back‑testing and benchmarking).
- Validate and provide an effective challenge on a wide range of models, such as CECL, ALM/IRR, capital and liquidity stress testing, scorecard, compliance/regulatory, pricing/valuation, regression, and economic capital models.
- Document conclusions from testing in a report to be shared with model owners, executives, and other key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or other quantitative fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
- 2 years or more of relevant experience.
- Experience with data analysis, quantitative analysis, and data validation.
- Competency in programming in languages like R or Python, as well as experience with database management using SQL.
- CFA, FRM, or similar risk management‑related credentials.
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(k), profit‑sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
- NY Minimum Salary (USD): $103,500
- NY Maximum Salary (USD): $172,500
