Overview
Manager - National Tax Office (J.D. Required).
The firm seeks a Manager to join our National Tax Office. This role thrives in a growing environment, providing clients with exceptional services. The individual will receive training and mentorship, along with opportunities for advancement and growth.
What you’ll do- Responsible for research and analysis of various federal income tax issues, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, timing issues and accounting methods, digital assets, and other matters
- Assist with M&A tax structuring and internal restructuring
- Draft emails and memos
- Draft Firm-wide alerts on current developments in federal income tax
- Assist with Firm-wide trainings in federal income tax
- Assist with Federal domestic tax due diligence in connection with M&A transactions
- 4+ years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience (large law firm, large accounting firm, or IRS preferred)
- J.D. and Tax LL.M.
- Experience working with partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Strong proficiency with tax research databases (such as Bloomberg BNA and RIA Checkpoint)

Salary information:
For Minnesota and Illinois, the expected salary range is between $110,000 and $170,000. The range in other geographies may vary by market differences. Actual compensation is determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Preferred
Location:
New York.
For NYC and California, the expected range is between $85,000 and $150,000. The range for other geographies may vary by market differences. Actual compensation is determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
