Position: Senior Analyst, Equity Compensation

The Senior Analyst, Equity Compensation is a mid-level HR professional based in the United States who specializes in the day-to-day administration and analysis of Xylem’s Global Long-Term Incentive and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) programs. This role supports strategic pay decisions by ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient administration of plans across multiple countries, while providing clear insights and guidance to HR and business partners.

This role is a hybrid role based in our Charlotte, NC office.

Hybrid would require in office 2-3x per week.

Senior Analyst, Equity Compensation Responsibilities
  • Administer Xylem’s global long-term incentive program (e.g., stock options, RSUs, PSUs) and the ESPP, ensuring accurate and timely processing of grants, vesting events, releases, purchases, and related transactions.

  • Maintain, reconcile, and audit equity data across systems (e.g., Workday and Fidelity Plan Sponsor Webstation (PSW)), ensuring accuracy of participant records, grant details, vesting schedules, and share balances.

  • Support the coordination and execution of key equity and ESPP cycles (annual grant cycle, off‑cycle grants, ESPP enrollment and purchase periods), including timelines, testing, communications, and post‑cycle reconciliations.

  • Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reporting and dashboards for equity and ESPP programs to support leadership decision‑making, budgeting, and forecasting (e.g., share usage, expense, and dilution).

  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and HR partners in the US and internationally to ensure equity and ESPP programs comply with plan documents, internal policies, and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Support modeling and analysis of equity and ESPP programs (e.g., cost projections, scenario analysis, and share pool planning), providing clear, actionable insights to Compensation and HR leadership.

  • Prepare and update employee‑facing materials (grant notifications, FAQs, intranet content, training decks) that explain equity and ESPP programs in a clear and engaging way for employees across multiple countries.

  • Assist with internal and external audits of equity and ESPP programs, ensuring appropriate documentation, controls, and audit trails are in place.

  • Participate in or lead defined work streams for special projects related to equity (e.g., new country rollouts, plan amendments, systems or vendor implementations).

Senior Analyst, Equity Compensation Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, HR, or related field.

  • 3–5+ years of equity compensation or related Total Rewards experience.

  • Strong understanding of equity program mechanics (RSUs, PSUs, stock options, ESPP).

  • Experience working with equity brokerage platforms (e.g., Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, Share works).

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking capabilities.
