• Model development and optimization
• Model validations and efficiency assessments
• Actuarial transformation
• Mergers and Acquisitions
• Financial and regulatory reporting

• Drive high-quality work products within expected time frames and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Stay abreast of current business, regulatory and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
• Assist clients in tackling unique and complex business issues through innovative solution development, leadership and a strong EY team
• Cultivate and manage business development opportunities, understanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge with the ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge. Possess good business acumen and remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
• Understand and communicate complex actuarial issues. Stay informed of and apply professional standards and firm policies (e.g., Actuarial Standards of Practice).
• Develop a strong personal brand and enhance the EY brand by writing articles, participating in industry groups and speaking at seminars.
• Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment, counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members in real time.

• A bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or another related major
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience
• Familiar with at least one prominent actuarial modeling software platforms, including but not limited to:
  Moodys GGY AXIS, FIS Prophet, Milliman ALFA/Integrate, Aon Benfield Path Wise, Slope, Poly Systems, among others.
• Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills
• A proven ability to manage time while working on multiple, often shifting, projects, and the confidence to work both collaboratively and independently under pressure
• Willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs
