It’s all about providing the knowledge our clients need to execute strategies and resolve complex issues. We’ll look to you to play significant roles in client engagement teams in the financial modeling area of our practice, in a wide variety of projects including:

• Model development and optimization
• Model validations and efficiency assessments
• Actuarial transformation
• Mergers and Acquisitions
• Financial and regulatory reporting

• Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected time frames and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients in tackling unique and complex business issues using innovative solution development, leadership and a strong EY team.
• Cultivate and manage business development opportunities, understanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships and networks and develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge, maintain good business acumen and remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
• Understand/communicate complex actuarial issues. Stay informed of and apply professional standards and firm policies (e.g., Actuarial Standards of Practice).
• Develop a strong personal brand and enhance the EY brand by writing articles, participating in industry groups and speaking at seminars
• Foster an innovative and inclusive team‑oriented work environment, counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members in real time.

• A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics or another related major
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years of people and/or project management
• Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries
• Experienced in at least one prominent actuarial modeling software platform, including but not limited to:
  Moodys GGY AXIS, FIS Prophet, Milliman ALFA/Integrate, Aon Benfield Path Wise, Slope, Poly Systems, among others.
