The Portfolio Manager is part of the credit management team within CNB's workout group known as Special Situations or SSG. Such portfolio consists primarily of criticized and classified C&I, Investor Commercial Real Estate, and Consumer loans. This individual will prepare periodic credit assessments, make credit recommendations, and engage in ongoing maintenance of the portfolio. This individual will work with Relationship Managers and SSG management to develop strategy and action plans, with the goal of maximizing CNB's recovery.

This individual will prepare periodic credit assessments, make credit recommendations, and engage in ongoing maintenance of the portfolio. This individual will work with Relationship Managers and SSG management to develop strategy and action plans, with the goal of maximizing CNB's recovery.
What will you do?- Teamwork:
Mentors junior colleagues, fosters a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. - Portfolio Management:
Owns and manages an assigned credit portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and risk management practices, including underwriting all types of credit exposures, managing credit risk, coordinating with Operations Specialists, and responding to developing situations. - Credit Analysis:
Analyzes credit data and assesses risk ratings, loss given default, accrual status, and collateral valuation. Prepare underwriting memorandums and approval documents for presentation to SSG Management. - Performance Monitoring:
Performs portfolio management activities to monitor and analyze portfolio performance, including periodic reviews and covenant tracking. - Data Analysis:
Analyzes credit data to support risk assessments including developing and presenting individual credit recommendations. - Risk Management:
Practices effective risk management, maintaining high standards of credit quality and origination in alignment with Bank’s credit risk appetite, and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements. - Collaboration:
Partners with Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage credit account relationships. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective credit operations to achieve the Bank’s strategic initiatives. Participate in ad-hoc projects to support the organization’s priorities. - Client Service:
Provides exceptional client service by maintaining professionalism and effectively interacting with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored credit solutions. Participate in joint client interaction with Relationship Manager(s).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Business or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressively increasing credit underwriting and portfolio management experience in relevant industry/industries

- Advanced experience in credit management and lending operations, with a strong understanding of risk management principles
