Job Description:

This job is responsible for providing advanced end-to-end operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business, and cross-business functional support through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include ensuring trading and operational activities are completed accurately and before deadlines, researching and resolving complex issues, and simplifying client interactions. Job expectations include being customer oriented and data driven, while focusing on continuous improvement.

:

The Global Fixed Income Operations team is responsible for performing end to end trade control for the US Mortgage Trading Desk, with a focus on Derivatives, and related hedge products. Trade Control responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with trading and sales to resolve discrepancies and ensuring proper flow into the system of record; facilitating monthly life cycle credit events and scheduled trade compressions;
Perform reconciliation of trade positions and tasks associated with end-of-day controls. In addition, the role requires all trade issues to be monitored, escalated as necessary, and resolved in a timely and efficient manner. As a result, the role is an escalation point for the various Operations Teams, and external clients on transaction related issues. Cross training with team members supporting other products will be required for coverage purposes.

Responsibilities:

• The desired candidate will be responsible to supervise Daily, Weekly, Monthly trade support controls listed in the Single Process Inventory (SPI), constantly facing off to challenging and time sensitive requests from the Front-Line Units. Additionally receive requests from Internal/External Auditors, Regulators, Other Risk/P&L Stake Holders, and Other Operations teams.
• Primarily responsible for supervision of governance and controls across various regulatory requirements for Global Market Operations applicable in the region (Ex – Govt Securities Dealer (GSD), TRACE, Qualified Financial Controls (QFC), Volcker 2.0 to name a few)
