Pay Rate: Based on $62,858 annual pay rate
Minimum Experience/
Education:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in business) and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or MBA. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Responsibilities- Provide consultation based on expertise, including direct client contact via one‑on‑one meetings, telephone, and written communications.
- Research, prepare materials, and recommend courses of action to clients.
- Maintain expert level knowledge of program policies, procedures, technology, and best practices related to business growth and management.
- Analyze and evaluate client issues using financial information, interviews, and documentation; develop plans of action and make recommendations.
- Promote the SBTDC region by identifying appropriate venues, representing the organization at meetings and conferences, developing promotional materials, and building relationships with potential sources of referrals.
- Administer programs and projects with attention to detail and deadlines, ensuring confidentiality of client information and timely completion of reports.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision, assess needs, apply sound judgment, manage multiple assignments, and prioritize work.

Education:
Experience in the Federal, State, and Local Governments contracting environment with medium‑size businesses.
- Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.) but are covered by Work's Compensation provisions.
- Non‑permanent employees working 30+ hours per week for 3+ months must be offered the chance to enroll in a High Deductible Health Plan within 30 days of eligibility.
- Non‑permanent employees working < 30 hours per week are measured during designated measurement periods; if they average 30+ hours per week over a period, they will be offered the High Deductible Health Plan.
- Temporary hourly workers (FTE .75+ or measured full‑time) are offered the High Deductible Health Plan.
- Temporary salaried workers (regardless of FTE, 3+ months duration) are offered the High Deductible Health Plan.
