About the Role

The Clinical Education Manager ensures a deep understanding of endoscopic procedures and devices across internal and external professional education initiatives. A strong team player, this role is responsible for the strategic coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of training programs in endoscopy.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of HCP training programs at IRCAD, key training institutions, and virtual seminars, including on-site execution and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Manage IRCAD equipment including reprocessing, inventory, and shipping as needed.
  • Collaborate with KOLs and subject matter experts to ensure the clinical relevance and excellence of training programs.
  • Support the consistent execution of professional education programs in the U.S. for peer‑to‑peer education (e.g., PENTAX Medical Forward Academy).
  • Deliver training sessions to HCPs across the United States.
  • Work cross‑functionally to align HCP training content with standards, society guidelines, and clinical/technological advancements.
  • Support sales teams during congresses and exhibitions by providing HCP trainings.
  • Collaborate with Director of Training & Education to ensure new field team members acquire foundational knowledge of products, clinical applications, and core selling skills, including coordination and use of PENTAX Medical University (Learn Upon platform).
  • Partner with sales leaders to assess and address the training needs of the sales team.
  • Support the commercial organization with in‑field training to ensure understanding of product use, application, and continual building of clinical acumen.
  • Manage scheduling, execution, and ongoing support of virtual and in‑person training, including onboarding new sales representatives and ensuring success with regular check‑ins throughout the first 120 days.
  • Continuously assess training effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Support ongoing training for current sales teams, including new product launches and updates in clinical practices, techniques, or guidelines.
  • Assist in the creation and review of educational content for internal and customer training, including materials hosted on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collect and communicate feedback from training sessions to inform the Director of Training & Education and support continuous improvement of training strategies.
  • Promote open communication and constructive feedback within the Americas Marketing, Sales, and CAS teams.
  • Stay current with trends in medical education, endoscopy, and adult learning methodologies to collaborate on implementation into training programs.
  • Strong communication skills, high motivation and solution‑oriented approach.
  • Team player – hands‑on mentality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Nursing; GI experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift or maneuver 30 lbs.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working independently and remotely.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Receptive to feedback and adept at cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Skilled in engaging and managing diverse stakeholders ranging from KOL HCPs to internal PENTAX teams.
  • Training and work experience as a (endoscopic) nurse.
  • Experience training for a medical device company, especially in endoscopy.
  • Minimum of 2 years of training experience in healthcare settings.
  • Experience presenting to groups.
  • Located near Charlotte, NC.
  • Clinical Education Nurse / Nurse Educator.
  • CGNA Certification.
  • Hospital clinical educator.
