As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with medication distribution, monitor patient responses, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare and administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and document patient responses to medications, reporting any adverse reactions or concerns to the nursing staff or healthcare provider.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medication records for each patient.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of medications in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
  • Work closely with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about medication management and potential side effects.
  • Keep informed of current medication protocols and industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in medication administration required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, pharmacy, or as a Medication Technician is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of medication terminology and procedures.
Working Conditions
