- As the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for Perioperative Services, you’ll provide both clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level—supporting your team through mentorship, performance management, scheduling, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high‑quality surgical care.
- This state‑of‑the‑art facility features nine operating rooms and provides comprehensive coverage for all orthopedic cases, from routine procedures to complex surgeries. The ANM will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, fostering collaboration among surgical teams, and supporting Novant Health’s commitment to remarkable patient outcomes.
- Background in perioperative services
- Proven leadership experience in a high‑volume OR
- OR experience highly preferred
- Leadership experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems (preferably Epic)
- Excellent communication and team‑building abilities
- Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time.
- Foster teamwork, member engagement, and community involvement.
- Commit to leveraging diversity and inclusion in support of quality care.
- Ensure a safe patient environment driven by the principles of “First Do No Harm”.
- Education:
4‑Year / Bachelor’s degree required. BSN preferred. Graduate degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership preferred. - Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required. Unit/Dept‑Specific required certifications. - Additional Skills (required):
Successful completion of generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
