Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) willing to make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship, care, and support.
We NeedInReach needs a DSP / an Employee for a male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Huntersville area, 28078.
Staff will provide Supported Employment Services for 20 hours a week.
Schedule- Monday: 9a-12:30p
- Tuesday: 6p-9:30p
- Wednesday: 3:30p-6p
- Thursday: 5:30p-9p
- Friday: 2:30p-5:30p
- Saturday:
Occasional - Sunday: 3:30p-7:30p
$21.70/hr.
What You'll Do- Instruction and assistance in home living environments.
- Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles.
- Facilitate community integration.
- Help individual develop healthy social habits.
- Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
- Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful drug screen and background check.
- Preferable 1-2 years of experience with the I/DD population.
