ETL Informatica Developer

Responsibilities

• Experience using Rally Agile tool
• ETL developer with minimum of 2-3 years of Ab Initio/ Informatica experience
• Should have skills in designing and developing extract, transform and load ETL processes
• Create and maintain adequate documentation of project ETL design, technical artifacts and ETL environment
• Very Large Database and DW implementation experience (20+ TBs), well versed in SQL, Oracle
• Programming skills in a Linux/Unix environment, including shell scripting
• Experience and ability to deliver results quickly in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
• Understanding and working with data models to ensure data is structured appropriately for the target system
• Creating and implementing the logic for extracting, transforming, and loading data
• Identifying and resolving issues within the ETL processes and monitoring performance to ensure optimal functionality
• Design and develop ETL workflows, graphs, mappings to process and transform data from source to target
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability
• Handle data extraction, transformation, cleansing and loading into data warehouse or data lakes
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of integrated data; identify and resolve data quality issues and ETL job failures
• Develop test scenarios, test cases and execute functional testing

• Strong understanding of Informatica ETL tool
• Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
• Ability to document technical artifacts and ETL environments
