Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables
• Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting
• Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify improvement opportunities
• Design, develop, and test data pipelines and software solutions to support regulatory reporting (FR 2052a)
• Create and maintain documentation including test plans, technical designs, and user stories
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Provide implementation support and troubleshoot issues in production environments
• Proactively propose innovative solutions and improvements to enhance system performance and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues and consult for remediation

• Experience in Corporate Treasury, Accounting, or Forecasting at large financial institutions
• Knowledge of banking products and funding mechanisms
• Strong analytical skills in balance sheet, liquidity, and capital analysis
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting, especially FR 2052a, is a strong plus
• Strong experience with data analysis, business and technical writing, and testing
• Knowledge of liquidity management, capital markets, or financial risk management
• Experience working in agile environments, Jira, Confluence
• 2+ years  experience writing SQL
• Familiarity with Informatica and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx
• Experience with large-scale data warehouse environments. Star schema dimensional model
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
