Job DescriptionWe are the leading provider of worldwide smart end-to-end supply chain & logistics, enabling the flow of trade across the globe. Key Accountabilities- Support the global network across various disciplines and become a subject matter expert for one or more network areas including LAN/WAN/Wireless/Security/VOIP.
- Work with global IT teams and management, supporting the network throughout the full project life cycle – design, procurement, configuration, installation, testing, documentation and ongoing monitoring/support.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish, including site launches and refreshes ranging from 50 users on-site to 1000 users on-site.
- Provide third‑level network support for sites and data centers, including the primary data centers in Las Vegas and Dublin.
- Perform network patching, maintenance, and configuration changes as part of the change management/control process.
- Manage and maintain network tools, proactively monitor and troubleshoot the network.
- Perform root cause analysis of incidents and provide corrective actions.
- Travel locally and internationally as required for project assignments and maintenance (25%).
- Actively participate, enforce, and follow DP World’s Change, Incident, and Problem management processes.
- Willingness to devise creative solutions to solve complex problems and issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong Cisco switching and wireless skills with experience in large deployments.
- Experience and knowledge of routing, SD‑WAN, firewall, VOIP, network application tools, automation and cloud migration.
- CCNA certification; CCNP is a bonus.
- Proven experience installing and configuring networks for 4+ years.
- Strong time management, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Previous experience following change management and change control processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
- Network segmentation experience is desirable.
- Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Forti Gate firewall certification is desirable.
