Junior Software EngineerBrooksource is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our enterprise banking partner’s Enterprise Tag Management team. This team manages the middleware layer between Adobe systems and Ally-owned domains, running Adobe Target and marketing pixels across all web properties. The role involves building and maintaining solutions in JavaScript and React, ensuring accurate tag deployment and supporting automation initiatives.
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will own the tag management process, collaborate across technical and business teams, and help establish automation testing practices. This is a highly visible role with daily interaction across multiple departments, offering exposure to enterprise-scale web and mobile environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain middleware solutions for Adobe Target and marketing pixel integrations using JavaScript and React.
- Own the tag management process across Ally domains, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Implement and drive automation testing strategies (long-term goal: Cypress) while supporting manual testing as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including web, mobile, and marketing to align tagging requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team demos and knowledge sharing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with React.
JS for front-end development. - Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams.
- Understanding of testing principles (manual and automation).
- Ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment and ask the right questions.
- Experience with Type Script and React Native.
- Familiarity with AWS services (future roadmap).
- Exposure to Cypress for automation testing.
- Interest in AI tools and emerging technologies.
