Lead Technician Job Description

• Respond to production incidents (L1/L2/L3), lead triage efforts, and restore services under strict SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor application health using App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Control-M.
• Coordinate releases, upgrades, and migrations with development and infrastructure teams.
• Debug Java code, analyze SQL queries, and resolve complex production issues.
• Participate in 24x7 on‑call rotations and manage bridge calls during outages.
• Ensure compliance with production governance and operational readiness.

• Core Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP services.
• SQL/PL‑SQL for Oracle, DB2, Mongo
  
  DB.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and Service Now.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production support or release management.
• ITIL certification preferred.

Experience:

5-8 Years

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
