Production Support Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid Locals Only)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Experience: 5+ Years

This position is a pure Application Production Support role. While development experience is beneficial, the primary responsibilities focus on understanding how applications run in production, ensuring stability, and resolving issues efficiently.

• 5+ years of experience supporting or developing distributed/web applications
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML)
• Experience with Splunk or any log aggregation/analysis tool
• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools (App Dynamics, Dynatrace, or similar)
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and basic commands (good to have)
• Experience with Oracle / PL/SQL (good to have)
• Basic Python scripting for automation or batch jobs (good to have)

• Strong debugging
  , troubleshooting
  , and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Good communication skills; ability to run triage/bridge calls
  , document issues, and provide updates
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Curiosity to learn new tools and technologies
• Flexibility to support after-hours/weekend production issues as needed
• Hybrid work model 3 days mandatory onsite in Charlotte, NC
