Service Delivery Center - Testing Manager

EY is a global professional services firm dedicated to the financial services marketplace. This role is part of the Service Delivery Center, Quality Assurance Manager, Payments Testing team.

You will design, build, deploy, and customize complex technical solutions to accelerate and streamline software application delivery and system integration projects for US‑based financial services clients. Projects are primarily built in Java, but you will also work with web (Angular, React, etc.), .NET, Python, microservices, databases, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and data analytics.

Your work supports our clients in accelerating and enhancing software testing, developing custom frameworks, drivers, JSON/XML parsers, and extending existing automation tools.

• Provide exceptional testing subject matter expertise and solve complex problems for clients.
• Act as a high‑profile contact for resolving issues and advising on resolutions that impact entire industries.
• Work directly with client engagement and delivery center leadership on the Engagement Management Framework.
• Conduct tests, analyze results, and ensure software meets or exceeds specified standards and client requirements.
• Plan, design, and implement custom Java‑based tools and frameworks.
• Develop and maintain client relationships across multiple levels; support sales efforts.
• Contribute to technical solutions throughout the solution delivery center.
• Lead team meetings (e.g., status meetings) and review team deliverables.
• Produce high‑quality deliverables with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field and approximately 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Domain expertise in Banking and experience with Enterprise Money Movement services and integrations (Wire, ACH, RTP, EFT).
• Deep understanding of ISO 20022 standards, message structures, business processes, and data elements.
• Ability to design comprehensive ISO test cases covering all aspects of ISO 20022 message flows and scenarios.
• Experience in Banking (Consumer, Commercial or Payments) in one of the following domains:
  Deposit and Loan Operations, ATM, Debit, Prepaid Cards, ACH, Wires, Treasury Management, Investments, Credit Processes, Payment Products and Lifecycle, Payment Authorization and Clearing.
• Passion for solving problems using technology and viewing challenges as opportunities.
• Technical knowledge of the software lifecycle, including design, architecture, development and testing.
• Knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the payments space (OFAC, RTP, EFT, PEGA, REG Z/E, Dispute, FX).
• Experience with ISO 20022 simulator tools such as Iliad, neaPay, Unifits, Nimbusnext, Blitzz Pay, Sipay, XMLdation, Ascert, and Coreum.
• Working knowledge of web technologies (Angular, React, HTML/CSS).
• Innovative, creative, resourceful, and able to mentor and coach team members.

• Certifications or degree specializations in application development, analytics, test automation or artificial intelligence.
• 3 years of strong Java and OOP knowledge.
• Experience with Java libraries and concepts such as linked hash maps, serialization, etc.
• Experience in Java development and architecture best practices.
• At least 2 years of test automation using JUnit, Selenium, REST Assured.
• Agile certification is preferred.
