A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Business Intelligence/Tableau Developer Position:
Business Intelligence/Tableau Developer

Plano, TX
Position Type: W2 contract
Duration: 12 Months
Hybrid: 3 Days onsite and 2 days remote

The ideal candidate will have:
Business Intelligence, Tableau, Data Visualization, Reporting, Analytics and Python

• 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Tableau, data visualization, or analytics, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data storytelling principles and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL or other querying languages to extract and manipulate data.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and managing teams.
• Work directly with business teams to understand reporting needs and KPIs.
• Extract, transform, and load data from Oracle and Data Lake environments.
• Design, develop, and publish Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Handle data ingestion from Excel and other structured sources.
• Provide comprehensive production support (L1-L4) for reporting pipelines.
• Act as a senior point of contact for data visualization best practices.
• Tableau (Very Strong) – Advanced dashboard creation, storytelling, interactivity
• Excel – Pivot tables, data transformation, formulas, macros (preferred)
• BI Tools – Power BI or other visualization platforms
• Oracle & Data Lake – Strong hands‑on experience with structured and semi‑structured data
• SQL (Very Strong) – Complex queries, joins, views, stored procedures
• Database Development Background – Schema design, indexing, performance tuning
• Languages:
  
  Java / .NET / Python (must have experience in at least one)
• Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL logic is a strong advantage
• Experience supporting applications/reports at all levels (L1 to L4)
• Troubleshooting report performance issues and user access

Pay Range*: $65- $68 per hour on W2
