Dynatrace Engineer

Job description

Expert in creating solutions using Dynatrace and deploy them to production extracting best value for the customer.

• End-to-end execution and implementation of Dynatrace solutions on complex customer environments - On-Prem/Cloud/Hybrid Cloud.
• Should document resolved issues in an effective manner for knowledge management, cross-train peers with tool usage and assist in creation of best‑practices, work independently on multiple assignments, proactively prioritising focus and effort.
• Present and demonstrate Application Performance Management to the prospective clients.
• Expert in solving request and creating request in Service Now.
• Should understand the challenges of customers, co‑ordinate with vendor for a customised solution if needed.
• Bring in best practices of the product to leverage the capabilities to the best.

• Hands‑on Experience on Dynatrace is a must.
• Root cause analysis and dashboard creation.
• Strong application performance analysis skills.
• Experience of deploying Dynatrace tools for different technologies and platforms.
• Experience on Configuration and customization Dynatrace solution that include integration with other tools.
• Very good understanding of tool capabilities for a given customer environment.
• Familiarity with other application performance monitoring tools is needed. Extensive experience with Synthetic monitoring and integration of third‑party tools with Dynatrace.
• Experience admin level tasks - Alert configuration, maintenance window, anomaly detection and changing threshold, custom event creation, request attribute, One Agent upgrade/install.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and principles.

• Dynatrace API integration with other tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Dev Ops tools like Ansible, Jenkins.
• Proficient in giving product trainings, demonstrating Dynatrace capabilities and new features to existing or prospective customers.
