Ansible​/Python Automation Engineer

• Developing robust automation workflows to support platform configuration, policy updates, and operational tasks.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing application integrations using RESTful and/or SOAP APIs, including authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), data transformation, and error handling.
• Strong ability to work with API documentation, create secure and scalable endpoints, and integrate third‑party services or internal systems.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger) and best practices for performance optimization and security compliance.
• Building integrations within management Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to interact with external systems (e.g., Hashi Corp Vault).
• Creating custom tooling to simplify administrative processes and reduce manual effort for day‑to‑day platform operations.
• Collaborating with internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
• Documenting automation architecture, processes, and usage guidelines to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing automation scripts for performance and reliability.
• This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, adapt to evolving requirements, and navigate complex organizational processes with minimal supervision.

• Managing network infrastructure as code
• Building Ansible playbooks based on business requirements
• Ability to work independently and navigate complex or unclear processes without constant guidance

• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine
• Experience with network engineering
