Program Manager – Agile Delivery Lead
Location: Charlotte, NC OR Dallas, TX – local candidates only
Work Schedule: Hybrid – minimum 3 days in the office per week
Employment Type: Contract
Required Status: W2 employee only (no vendor resumes, no visa sponsorship)
Industry Background: Must have strong financial industry background (preferably investment banking) and experience working as a consultant with KPMG, Cap Gemini, IBM, or Deloitte is a big plus.

Description:
- Strong Program Management with Agile experience.
- Managing deliverables within a program.
- Reporting tool is Splunk.
- Infrastructure background preferred.
- Agile Delivery Lead responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined deliverables requiring engagement across multiple Agile teams across projects, programs, and time zones.
- Should understand the entire Agile Solution process, learn, implement, and mature Lean‑Agile principles and practices. Empower teams to become self‑managing, fulfill cross‑functional potential, and have an attitude of relentless improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery – e.g., kick‑offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates.
- Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
- Facilitates dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables.
- Ensures compliance to standards and provides end‑to‑end visibility into the health of the project, program, and associated deliverables.
- Ensures execution and delivery meet client expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost; facilitates sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.
- Provides guidance on creating and managing an intake process, healthy backlog, and facilitating valuable Agile ceremonies.
- Helps teams optimize implementation of Enterprise Agile standards and practices, and coaches team members through change.
- Identifies and resolves organizational impediments that impact team maturity and performance.
- Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution across teams and with stakeholders, including external teams, business partners, and other Agile Release Trains/programs.
- Influences and guides business and technology leaders on changes that enable agility.
- Contributes to artifacts needed for governance forums; understands stakeholder expectations and creates regular updates to keep stakeholders informed.
