Job Description

CGS is seeking a dedicated worker with exceptional experience in the eDiscovery space to support a large federal agency. In this position, you will be providing full‑time IT legal support services using various programs. As an expert programmer, you will be independently developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs to support litigation environment applications, such as litigation support databases, associated management systems, and analytical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs.
  • Translate program requirements into code.
  • Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications.
  • Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
  • Develop data entry screens and user interfaces; implement standardized reports and generate specialized/ad‑hoc reports as required.
Qualifications
  • United States Citizen.
  • Substantial, hands‑on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
  • At least two years of directly applicable experience.
  • At least three years of overall programming experience, including experience with large‑scale database management systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred – preferably in computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
Preferred Skills
  • Broad knowledge of government IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server‑based databases and applications.
  • Supervisory or team‑lead experience.
  • Experience in automated litigation support.
