SAP IS-U Billing Analyst

Job Summary

The Business Analyst/SAP provides support for a broad range of functional aspects of the SAP system as they relate to business processes and development. This position is responsible for the planning, configuration, testing and end-user support of SAP applications as well as the functional oversight of custom software development, including meter to cash with focus on ISU Billing and invoicing.

• Configure all the billing master data and rates.
• Build rates for gas utilities (preferred).
• Manage budget billing, unbilled revenue, collective billing/invoicing.
• Work with regulatory on implementation of new rate case and translate those into changes in SAP configuration.
• Implement rate changes in system; follow change management process to deploy changes to test system.
• Generate sample bills and validate rates calculations for changed rates.
• Create sample bill prints for review with regulatory post-deployment of rate case.
• Upkeep price changes in SAP to accommodate new gas charge price keys.

• Strong SAP functional module experience, including the ability to configure the specific SAP modules listed in this job description.
• Systems testing and IT implementation experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and a sense of urgency.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with process mapping.
• Organized with the ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with and passion for implementing change and continual improvement.
• Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes.
• Supervisory experience and SAP certification and/or a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or Computer Science from an accredited university is preferred.
