API SDET Test Lead

Infosys is seeking an API Test Lead – SDET
.

As an API Test Lead – SDET, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design, and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of one year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
• Located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or willing to relocate.

• At least 4 years of experience in automation testing (SIT and UAT), test execution, analysis & reporting.
• At least 3 years of experience performing Agile Testing.
• Expertise in estimating story points for Agile testing projects.
• Strong experience in API automation using REST Assured framework.
• Strong expertise in automation using Selenium with C#.
• Good understanding of Cloud platforms.
• Experience setting up testing pipelines using Harness, Git Hub, or Jenkins.
• Strong coordination, communication, reporting, analytical skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• At least 4 years of experience using any programming language like Java or Python.
• Thorough understanding of test automation, UI/Backend test automation concepts.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Skills in test strategizing, planning and coordination.
• Contribute to in‑depth technical content for test automation proposals.
• Translate user requirements and application features into testing requirements.
• Teamwork and client‑interfacing skills.
