• Client is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of a Contract Compliance function leveraging SAP Ariba.
• This newly created role focuses on engineering and operationalizing a process that ensures purchase orders (POs) are tightly linked to contracts, improving efficiency, visibility, and compliance across sourcing and procurement activities.
• The role partners closely with the Procurement team, Contract Management team, and Enabling Capabilities teams to build a scalable, integrated solution that reduces manual effort and enhances reporting.

• Lead the development of a new contract compliance process from the ground up.
• Ensure all POs are systematically tied to contracts, reducing manual steps and improving auditability.
• Define and document workflows across sourcing, contracting, and procurement.

• Serve as SMO for SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing (Upstream) and Buying & Invoicing (Downstream).
• Configure and optimize Ariba modules to support contract compliance and procurement operations.
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow and system connectivity.

• Design and maintain a robust Supplier Master structure that supports contract hierarchy and sourcing strategies.
• Ensure supplier data integrity and alignment with contract terms.

• Partner with internal teams to align contract compliance goals with sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor compliance, efficiency, and supplier performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve the process.

• Proven experience leading and implementing SAP Ariba contract compliance processes.
• Deep understanding of SAP Ariba Contracts, Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing modules.
• Experience designing and supporting Supplier Master data structures.
• Strong background in sourcing and contracting processes, ideally in complex organizational environments.
• Demonstrated ability to engineer new processes, drive adoption, and support day‑to‑day operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
• 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.

• Ariba contract compliance is a feature that automatically enforces contract terms throughout the procurement process.
• It ensures buyers adhere to negotiated agreements, helping realize savings, managing risk, and preventing maverick spending.
• The role requires strong functional knowledge of Ariba Source to Pay modules and experience developing reporting and dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Pay Range: $80‑$85k. The specific compensation will be determined by scope, complexity, location, and candidate qualifications. Full‑time consultants receive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) contributions, PTO, and other statutory benefits.
