Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Senior/Lead Teradata Database Administrator (Charlotte / Jacksonville) to join their dynamic team. As a Senior/Lead Teradata Database Administrator (Charlotte / Jacksonville), you will be an integral part of the Data Management Department supporting enterprise-wide database solutions. Pay Range What's the Job?

• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and support Teradata database environments.
• Provide consulting services, support change implementations, and fulfill work requests from application and operational teams.
• Offer on-call support for Teradata production environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to processes, tools, and problem resolution techniques.
• Support application DBA functions including DDL creation, SQL scripting, problem research, change deployments, and automation of DBA processes.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience as a Teradata DBA, including expertise with Teradata V17.20+.
• Proficiency with Teradata tools such as Teradata Studio, TDWM, BTEQ, ARCMAIN, FASTLOAD, MLOAD, TPUMP, TPT, DBQL, PDCRF.
• Knowledge of Teradata system setup including GDO, DBS Control, and Multitool.
• Experience with system management tools like Viewpoint, Teradata Data Mover, and Teradata BAR technology.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Unix/Linux shell scripting (KSH, BASH, PERL) and automation tools like Ansible.
