Data Engineer, Systems Administrator
Our client, a leading organization in the data analytics and workflow automation industry, is seeking a Alteryx Platform Administrator (Charlotte) to join their dynamic team. As a Alteryx Platform Administrator (Charlotte), you will be an integral part of the IT Operations team supporting enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Alteryx Platform Administrator (Charlotte)
Location:Charlotte, NC
What's the Job?- Install, patch, and monitor multi‑node Alteryx Server environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Execute platform upgrades, license renewals, SSL certificate management, and Mongo
DB instance merges. - Plan and execute server migrations from heritage data centers to next‑generation facilities.
- Remediate vulnerabilities and maintain secure authentication credentials to ensure compliance and security.
- Implement automation for environment setup, manage connectors and drivers, and support user workflows for efficiency.
- Minimum of 2+ years in software engineering or related technical roles.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server maintenance, patching, and multi‑node architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Batch and Power Shell, and experience with Alteryx Swagger API.
- Experience managing enterprise‑scale platforms, including load balancer configuration and security standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot Mongo
DB and SQL Server environments, with familiarity in vulnerability remediation and patch management.
