• Excellent Communication skills
• Expertise in Business Objects and Cognos products
• Responsible for architecture, design, development and delivery of new reporting platforms
• Provides strategic technology direction in order to ensure required level of functionality and performance, and to manage risk, improve reliability; ensures compliance with architecture standards and audit requirements
• Ensures quality of deliverables, sets development standards in areas of code quality, test coverage, monitoring, and logging
• Serves as a technical expert on in-house business intelligence/reporting tool solutions
• Designs and develops large, complex processes
• Problem troubleshooting; determines alternative solutions and creates action steps to solve the problem; thinks and acts quickly and effectively in a variety of situations
• Works with business process owners to develop reporting requirement
• Researches new BI technologies/processes and makes recommendations to improve companies bottom line
• Supports organizational decision-making by turning disparate data into concise and actionable information
• Pursues continuous improvement of data quality, standardization of data management processes, efficiency, and quality of service
• Develops and maintains technical specifications and end user documentation of assigned projects and analyses
• Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures within area of competence
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

At least 6-8 years of Business Objects experience and working as an Architect
