The Emerging Business team is building a next-generation integrated data platform called PCD. PCD aims to deliver data acquisition, standardization, harmonization, and integration capabilities for next-generation technology offerings.

PCD requires connection to member operational and clinical systems, and this position provides subject matter expertise for deep integration and HIT system integration practice. The role specializes in data extraction, standardization, and integration with HIT vendor systems in hospital and ambulatory environments.

This position collaborates with Software Engineering and Operations to refine connector processes and implementation approaches.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 7 years of experience required; 10 years preferred
• Hands-on experience with HIT systems, Reporting Workbench technologies, and associated products
• Experience with SQL or other database query technologies
• Experience in Java or a similar object-oriented programming language
• HIT system certifications or experience writing extracts against HIT source databases

• Expert SQL skills for building database extracts
• Experience extracting data from health IT systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.)
• Experience with healthcare data domains – clinical, claims, billing data
• Light Java experience for configuration
• Degree Requirement: 4-year degree
