Senior Director of AI Data Science to lead strategy, operations, and innovation in AI/ML and data analytics within biopharma R&D.
Responsibilities- define multi-year AI/ML roadmap
- build and manage a multidisciplinary team
- establish standards for model development, validation, interpretability, and responsible AI
- oversee data platforms and pipelines on cloud infrastructure
- guide AI governance, risk management, and compliance
- and serve as a scientific thought leader externally
- Bachelor's (15+ years), Master's (13+ years), or PhD (12+ years) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- extensive experience in AI/ML solutions in clinical or pharma settings, including GxP environments
- proven leadership, stakeholder influence, and budget management skills
experience with clinical data standards (CDISC), clinical development processes, and AI governance.
High-Valuefocus on AI/ML in drug development, clinical data, real-world evidence, cloud platforms (Databricks, AWS), and GxP compliance.
